Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Lewistown, PA is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with credentials including CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) and SLP-School certification for a contract position spanning the full school year.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations for students across grades K-12
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Provide direct speech therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance student communication skills
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school district policies and IDEA guidelines
• Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Current SLP certification for school-based services
• Experience working in an educational setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders in pediatric populations
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently
