Senior Quality Engineer to join our team located in
Lafayette, LA .
As a Senior Technical Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will take direction from solution architects and Leads on development activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES - Assess and understand business requirements.
- Validate business requirements against the implementation through comprehensive testing.
- Produce client deliverables such as detailed test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports any other assets described in the SOW.
- Ensure deliverables are of the highest quality to promote client satisfaction.
- Acting as an Agile tester, flexible to play multiple roles in the team.
- Share knowledge with the team through training, documents, etc.
- Flexibility to learn new technologies as required by project.
- Develop and execute Automated testing scripts by Selenium, Cucumber and other tools.
- Independently manage assigned tasks.
- Be responsible for quality analysis.
- Coach and mentor junior people.
QUALIFICATIONS - Extraordinary level of understanding for complex business requirements
- Hands on experience in at least one of the following testing activities: functionality testing, performance testing, automation testing and mobile testing.
- Hands on experience in the following activities: test estimation, test planning and test reporting
- Hands on experience for automated tools: Selenium, SoapUI, Rest Assured, Cucumber and Jmeter.
- Familiar with CI/CD and hands on experience for Jenkins.
- Experience in at least one of the following databases: Oracle Database, MS SQL Server, DB2
- Deep understanding of automation test framework design and hands on experience in automation testing.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
- Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus.
- A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected.
- Demonstrates a breadth and/or depth of technical/Industry competence.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Must be flexible to new situations and challenges and should have passion for delivery
- Good time management and problem-solving skills are required.
The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $57,798 to $131,640. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
