As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned area, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and be prepared to use authorized equipment as needed. You will interact with the public and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor for and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Interact professionally with the public, employees, and visitors while upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or activities as required by site-specific procedures.
• Support law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.

• Availability across various days and shifts
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
• Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Possession of a Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
