As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within dynamic manufacturing, industrial, and government locations. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, remaining highly visible to help prevent potential issues, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of your daily duties. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.74 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri10:30 PM - 06:30 AM What You'll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, including both indoor and outdoor areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within manufacturing, industrial, and government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client site requirements.
  • Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors, providing assistance and information as needed.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or unusual situations, following established procedures for armed security-related posts.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local laws and regulations.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
